As the Pioneer in the field of Paintless Dent Removal, Dent Wizard offers the most comprehensive tuition-free paintless dent repair training program in the industry. It consists of eight weeks at our St. Louis training center, learning the intricacies of the Dent Wizard Process with both classroom and hands-on experience. During the training, Dent Wizard provides housing, transportation costs and tools in addition to paying you a salary until you begin to earn an income from repairs.

PDR Technicians working for Dent Wizard work on a mobile route and are provided with a company vehicle and the tools necessary to do the job. After initial training a PDR technician will work closely with an experienced technician to become familiar with duties including:

  • Performing PDR work using Dent Wizard’s propriety process
  • Walk and write up car lots for customer approval
  • Negotiate with and sell customers to gain work
  • Prospect potential accounts for new work
  • Help sell, train and staff dealership service drives to increase work
  • Work with account and/or sales manager to increase quality of service
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Service retail customers

Is A PDR Career Right For You?

To succeed as a Dent Wizard PDR technician, you do not need previous experience. We have successfully hired and trained people from hundreds of different industries and job descriptions. We are looking for people with

  • A determined attitude - determined to excel at quality and customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20lbs (hand tools etc) and excellent manual dexterity.
  • Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record.

Starting Your PDR Career with Dent Wizard

  1. Start by completing an on-line application.
  2. One of our managers or recruiting specialists will be in contact for a brief phone interview.
  3. Complete a personality assessment to identify any challenges you may have in working in our industry. We prefer this to be done prior to a personal interview.
  4. The recruiter or area manager will schedule an in-person interview to conduct a more in-depth interview
  5. A successful interview will include a brief test to ensure your physical ability to bend and move your body in ways that are required for a technician to be successful.
  6. Going through training is a large commitment for both you and Dent Wizard. To be sure about your interest and ability to do the job we ask that candidates who have not been in the industry spend some time (between 2 and 4 hours) with one of our technicians so you can see and experience what the day to day work consists of before committing to the job. We refer to this as a “ride along”.
  7. Finally, if offered employment you will be asked to complete an eye exam and background check (criminal and driving) before coming to training in St. Louis.
