Dent Wizard Launches Wheel Repair Center of New England
Local automotive alloy wheel repair operation provides an overnight repair and delivery service for the region’s auto dealerships, body shops, and wheel retailers
ST. LOUIS, May 12, 2015
– Dent Wizard International
, the global leader in automotive reconditioning and SMART (Small to Medium Area Repair Techniques) repairs, recently opened the Wheel Repair Center of New England
, an alloy wheel repair and painting service operating out of Bloomfield, Conn. This new enterprise from Dent Wizard provides local, overnight services for the region’s auto dealerships, body shops, and tire and wheel retailers, who otherwise are replacing alloy wheels with costly new wheels, or sending wheels out of town for service.
Today, auto repair businesses are seeing more alloy wheel repair jobs. That trend will continue as more manufacturer models feature alloys, which are lighter and more attractive than wheels made of other materials. However, for all of their advantages, alloy wheels have shown to be prone to certain types of damage, including scrapes, scratches, gouges and cracks. Traditional auto repair businesses lack the equipment to make such repairs, so they are buying new or replacement wheels, which can increase costs and lead to longer repair times. About 60 percent of new cars today have alloy wheels, and that number is expected to increase.

’s route trucks make scheduled stops at auto repair operations in the region, or may be scheduled as needed through the dispatch service by calling 800-659-3368. Upon delivery to the Dent Wizard wheel repair shop, a team of trained technicians goes to work to complete the repairs in the evening hours. In about 24 hours the wheels are repaired to factory specifications and delivered.

’s capabilities include refinishing, straightening, crack welding, powder coat finishing, CNC lathing, wheel polishing and custom coloring, a style trend that has grown in popularity in recent years. Various finishes of black, white and colors keyed to match a vehicle’s body paint are leading this trend. All repairs at the wheel repair shop are done by Dent Wizard-trained technicians, and come with a lifetime workmanship guarantee.
“Dent Wizard is committed to growing the types of reconditioning services that our dealerships, body shops and other customers are asking for,” said Michael Fedorowich, Dent Wizard’s Regional Vice President of the Northeast and Canada. “The Wheel Repair Center of New England
, and our continued geographic and services expansion in SMART repairs are two examples of that commitment.”
Mike Black, Dent Wizard’s Chief Operating Officer added: "Our customers clearly understand the value of reducing time for repairs and simplification. Our operating processes drive real value in both areas. We have an experienced team led by Aldo Bazzano, a 15-year Dent Wizard subject matter expert.
